    It’s possible, but these advertisements are there to get you to subscribe to their expensive service. It is true that a lot more people than ever, are now using these sites, since it is not so “creepy” or “closeted” as it was in say the early days of internet. However, just as many people meet people through friends, social circles, work, school, church, neighborhoods,family, etc….in other words….the same way people have been meeting for centuries.

    It may very well be true. I wouldn’t say this except that I have a close friend who is now with someone she met online and have heard of several other similar stories. Not sure how I feel about it, but that’s another story.
